Go ahead, call me a fair-weather fan, but my family will disown me if I don't give a shout out to our beloved Lakers. Last night, they trounced the Magic 100-75 in the first play off game. Kobe completely dominated with 40 points. Sounds like a good start to me!

So you know one of dad's biggest brags in life (considering he had 4 girls and no boys) is that all 4 of us were born into a Laker championship year... think how much more he would love the boys if they were born into a championship year as well! Oh the conditional love we live with!

That's not coditional love, that just makes it mandatory that you are all Laker fans. And I think it would be very fitting for the Lakers to win it all this year for Jackson and Cullen. That way their grampa can tell them the whole story.
