I've heard that it's good to let your kids get used to sippy cups by letting them play with and hold them first. So last week, I spread a towel on the floor and filled the cups with a little bit of water and let them play. Jack really enjoyed his and even got the spout into his mouth. Cullen, however, got frustrated with his. Last week, Cullen was really into what I deemed the "fake- cough cry" that he's doing in the video. He would force himself to cough/cry whenever he was the slightest bit upset. At first I thought maybe he was actually a little sick, but no, after a week of that I'm convinced he just thought it was fun to cough and that it got him more attention than merely fussing.
He got tired of that pretty quickly though. Nowadays, his favorite thing to do is blow spit bubbles. I'll try to get this on video before he moves onto another new trick because it's HILARIOUS, but for now here's a video of them with their sippy cups.
