Brandon had had enough of their long hair though, so we cut it last Tuesday night. We only needed to trim the back and behind their ears where it was long and curly. We left the rest of their heads alone. I cut a lock of hair off of each side of the back of their neck and taped them to notecards for their scrapbooks (that I will make someday in the far off future). Here are my handsome boys, post haircut:

I was sooo nervous with the scissors in my hand! I kept hoping and praying that I wouldn't cut an ear off! Brandon did a pretty good job of distracting them and holding them still, but they were still quite squirmy.

See, no mullets here. It's a little choppy but I've never cut anybody's hair with scissors before, especially two little boys trying to jump around the entire time. I'm pretty proud of myself!

If it's any help, I use to cut Brandon's hair when he was in the bathtub. It was the only place he was distracted enough long enough to complete the job. We clogged the drain more than a few times, but I never cut off an ear!
Whoops! I didn't know I was logged into Gary's google account with the last comment. Gary never did cut the boy's hair and I doubt he even knew I did it in the bathtub:-)
