Most of the time apartment life is not so bad... most of the time. Sure, I'd really, really love a yard for my boys to play in, I'd love to not worry about them getting run over in the parking lot, I'd love to not have to haul my groceries through those heavy front doors which are too small for my stroller... But I can live with all that. I remind myself that this won't last forever and of how blessed I already am.
However, I am getting extremely frustrated this week! On Monday (a very hot, humid day) they turned our air conditioning off all day, yesterday they turned our hot water off all day, and today they're doing work on the apartment next to ours - the one that shares a wall with Jack and Cullen's bedroom of course- and hammering very loudly during naptime. I keep hearing the boys groan over the monitor each time the hammering starts up again. And I'm sitting here furious and crossing my fingers they can sleep through it.
I need to take some deep breaths and pray for patience and contentment.

Oh Kimmy I'm so sorry, that makes me so mad!! You should complain to the office, you might get something out of it!
From what I have learned about praying for patience-
God will not give you patience; He will PROVIDE instances in your life where you can learn patience... that said, I toatlly agree with you-that would drive me crazy! I hope they didn't wake up early from their nap because of that...
