Trucks!

On Saturday morning, we took the boys to the DC Truck Touch. It was a free event put on by the city government, they brought out all their trucks, tractors and other big vehicles and let the kiddos see them up close. Jack and Cullen had tons of fun!

We tried to get a picture in front of the police horse, but it didn't work out too well. It was sweltering that day, even in the morning, and we had some hot cranky kids who did not want to be held at all. Jack was trying to kick his way out of my arms during this picture. He may appear to be smiling, but it was really a look of determination as he kicked.

We came home, had a looong nap and then went swimming for the first time this summer. It was a good day!
