Our Big Three Year Olds!

Even though they'd had a cake and presents from our families, we wanted to celebrate Jack and Cullen's third birthday with a special outing when we got home from our trip. A few months back, I had seen a Groupon deal for IMAX tickets at the Smithsonian so we used those to take the boys to their first IMAX movie. I forget exactly which one it was but I do know it was all about airplanes and the boys LOVED it! That may be an understatement- they were completely transfixed on the giant screen in front of them for the entire movie. I can't remember the last time either of them sat that still for that long. After the movie, we walked through the Air and Space Museum and looked at some of the airplanes.

Then we went out for one of their favorite foods- pizza! Brandon and I had been wanting to try out a new pizza place on the Hill for a long time. You know how I'm always going on and on about Good Stuff burgers? Well, the same guy owns We The Pizza, so we knew it was gonna be good. And it was :-) All in all, it was a pretty fun night for all of us!
