Anyways, a couple nights ago, I took Jackson out of the tub first and put him into his towel and sat him down. Then I went to reach for Cullen, but Jackson suddenly sprang up, flung off his towel and made a break for it. I called his name and peeked out the bathroom and saw him running into the living room laughing. I just rolled my eyes, laughed and then turned back to Cullen. But he had the strangest look on his face, like he was about to cry but was too confused and stunned to actually start crying. Then he started gagging himself and spitting. I could tell he wasn't actually choking, just sputtering, but I still had no idea what was going on. Then I spotted soap bits and residue on one of his hands and around his mouth. "Oh no, he must have eaten soap!" Sure enough the soap was missing from the little dish in the bathtub. Well, I just shrugged and figured that he must have just licked it before dropping it into the water. I lifted him out and took him to get a cup of milk to get the taste out of his mouth. I knew that soap is harmless for the most part and he seemed to be ok a few minutes later- at least he had stopped making disgusted faces.
Later, I went back in to clean up the toys from the bathtub and found the missing bar of soap- with a big, huge bite taken out of it!! No wonder he was so upset, he'd gotten a mouthful! (Don't worry, he didn't swallow it, I found the chunk in the bathtub too). Well, they say that if you learn a lesson the hard way, you only have to learn it once. Poor kid! I doubt Cullen will be touching a bar of soap ever again!
Last week, they figured out how to climb onto the chairs and then from a chair onto the table. Uh oh! I'm really careful now to leave the chairs all pushed in completely.

Now that's funny--poor Cullen! Yes, Jack will really be upset someday about the picture but he's so cute. Love the pictures at the park. I do think a dog would be wonderful-how would your kitties react?
hahahaha, I can't imagine what it would be like having FIVE little creatures running around your apartment, Kimmy....
hahaha, I was just thinking- I wish they'd make playgrounds for adults where the toys were all four times as tall. (Maybe that's the purpose my climbing gym serves...)
